This product assembles easily and many customers have been amazed at the fast and stunning results its had when they put in their waste materials and tumbled them into great compost material.  In fact, this product has been a top seller at Amazon.com for some time!  Definitely one that will help you eliminate waste and create some of the best compost for your garden!

Envirocycle Backyard Composter

The Envirocycle Backyard Composter has a great "green" design to it and comes in green or black colors.  It's compact (20.5" D x 26" W x 31.5" H), durable, and very user-friendly.  The drum provides proper aeration through small openings, while a nice lockable lid prevents small animals from gaining access.  One of the different things with this model, priced under $150, is that its got grip style indents on its circumfrence, allowing the user to tumble or spin the container.  This composter also doesn't hold quite as much as our other models and may be ideal for smaller homes, condos or even apartment type dwellings.

Despite its smaller size, one feature that sets the Envirocycle Backyard Composter apart frm others, is that its base can collect up to 5 gallons of compost tea or a rich organic liquid fertilizer to use on your plants and soil!

Mantis 4000-00-02 ComposT-Twin Composting Bin

At a price of around $500, the Mantis 4000-00-02 ComposT-Twin Composting Bin is not easy on the pocketbook or wallet.  However, it's well worth that amount due to its elegant design and style which also provides maximum composting for your money.  This composting bin has a brown barrel look to it, complete with a thin metal base to raise it off the ground and a simple turn handle on the side.

What makes this composter so pricey is its dual-chamber composter.  This means that you have 2 separate compost bins for your use.  Each bin can hold a capacity of 10 bushels, so you can make two batches of separate compost.  Have one compost batch cooking while you start a new one.  The fully enclosed inner chambers are constructed of a brilliant rust-resistent galvanized steel, and it's frame raises the compost bin off the ground for more ergonomic turning.  There's also four aerator vents on top for allowing maximum air flow to help the composting effort.  On a side note, this will be an investment in both money and time as several customers reported it takes a while to set this up and learn its proper use.

Great info on compost tumblers. I've looked into them myself and found the Tumbleweed to be the best choice for me.

I like the vertical design better for a number of reasons but the others are good choices too.
